When thinking about mechanical engineering, manufacturing is not the first subject that comes to mind. However, when zooming in on different aspects, the core of manufacturing consists of great mechanical engineering features.
During the 2019 edition of the Symposium by W.S.V. Simonstevin, was the manufacturing sector analyzed from different mechanical engineering perspectives to broaden our ideas on the entire process. The goal is to eloborate on the process to obtain product out of raw materials and everything necessary to make that possible. The future of manufacturing is of great importance to mechanical engineers.
